Learning Arabic in Oman

Arabic language courses for all levels -- beginners to advanced --  with accompanying excursion program are currently offered at a language school in Oman, which we can highly recommend.

Are you learning Arabic but you are not making much headway because you lack the practice? Are you looking for a language institute in a safe country, where you can experience friendly and uncomplicated insights into the Arab everyday life, and this at an affordable price?

In Oman a relatively dialect-free Arabic is spoken. In the city of Ibri there is a small, private language institute, the Noor Majan Training Institute, which offers courses of different lengths and levels in small groups; on request also personally tailored programs. The internationally recognized "Al Arabiyya Test. Arabic Language Proficiency Test" (developed by the Orient Institute of the University of Leipzig) can be completed. Courses can be recognized as part of a degree course in the form of credits.

Transfers from Muscat Airport (about 3 hours drive) as well as student visas can be organized for students. You live in student apartments in twin rooms. (Single room available on request for a surcharge,) Alternatively, women can be accommodated in host families or you can go to a simple hotel. Students receive daily transfers between the accommodation and the Language Institute. Excursions, shopping trips, individual conversation lessons, as well as daily lunch are included in the course program.
Ibri itself is an appealing Omani town, whose cityscape is traditionally shaped. Since Ibri is not in the focus of tourism, you will quickly be using the Arabic language!
The language school is located in the historic city center, next to the souq and the fortress.
