The resort is located on the beach of Al Ghubra, about 20 minutes' drive from Mutrah. The Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is just minutes from the hotel. Since the airport is not far away, there may be at times, depending on wind direction and approach angle, some aircraft noise.
