Since the foundation of ARABIA FELIX Synform GmbH, we have been involved in the production of documentary films on various topics in Oman.

In 2000, three documentary films about the country from a tourism perspective were produced in cooperation with the filmmaker and Grimme Award winner Wolfgang Ettlich on behalf of Bayerischer Rundfunk for the programme series "Wanderlust".

The two documentary films "Religious Tolerance in Oman" and "Islamic Art in Oman", commissioned by the Ministry of Religious Endowments and Religious Affairs in Muscat, followed in 2010 with the same director. The film about the peaceful coexistence of religious communities in Oman has so far been translated into 23 languages and is being distributed worldwide via the exhibition project"Tolerance, Understanding, Coexistence - Oman's Message of Islam"

In 2012, work began on the first comprehensive documentary on the eventful history of Sultan Oman, featuring interviews with internationally renowned experts, filming at original locations and re-enactments commissioned by the Bidiyah Library Cultural Foundation and the German University of Technology GUtech. This three-part documentary entitled "The Sons of Sinbad" for Omani and international television was directed by Friedrich Klütsch. The scriptwriters were Juma Al-Maskari, Friedrich Klütsch and Georg Popp. The three language versions in English, German and Arabic were completed in 2017 and the film production has since won several international awards.
