The National Museum in Muscat

In the "historic Muscat" district, open daily 10 am - 5 pm, Fri 2 pm - 6 pm, admission OMR 5 (locals OMR 2). The ticket counter closes one hour before.

The museum brings together all of the country's major art and cultural treasures from the former National Museum in Ruwi and the Museum of Cultural Heritage. Two of the famous beehive tombs from the Bat excavation site were also transferred there and thus preserved for posterity. Comprehensive collection from prehistory and early history to the present day. Very attractively designed premises.
