The Ayursoma Ayurveda Royal Retreat creates a special atmosphere far away from everyday life with its successful architectural blend of traditional Indian palace and temple architecture and the overgrown façades. Old carvings, sculptures and columns blend harmoniously into the new architecture. The hotel-like complex consists of several interlocking buildings grouped around the coastal slope. Almost all rooms have a sea view and a terrace or balcony. The building is just a few minutes' walk from the beach.
Ayurveda cures are offered all year round. Local temperatures are relatively stable and fluctuate between 28 and 34 degrees throughout the year, with the months of April and May usually being the hottest and September to November the coolest. From May to September, the climate is strongly influenced by the regional monsoon. During this time, the monsoon winds repeatedly cause rainfall and the sea shows its wilder side. Swimming in the Indian Ocean is therefore not possible from May to September. The heaviest rainfall is in the month of June, in the months of May and September, the rains are usually only sporadic.
