Experience the breathtaking fjord landscape of the Omani exclave of Musandam from the harbour of the city of Khasab (2 hours' drive from Dubai or a 1-hour domestic flight from Muscat) on board the „Rubba“, a modern yacht with a design inspired by traditional Arabian dhows.

Every 1st, 2nd and 3rd Monday of the month we offer a three-day (optionally also four-day) exclusive dhow cruise package through Musandam as an add-on trip in one of the six double cabins of the upscale dhow yacht "Rubba.

12:00 - Boarding in the harbour of Khasab: Entry into the Schimmfjord. You can swim, fish, snorkel and watch dolphins from the dhow or go kayaking. Stop at Telegraph Island, named after a British telegraph station from 1864. incl. catering on board
Overnight stay on board in the calm waters of the fjord. Double cabin with en-suite shower room.
Continue towards Kumzar, the remote small town on the Strait of Hormuz, which can only be reached by boat and has preserved its own language due to its remoteness. Continue via Bab Musandam in the direction of Shisha Fjord. Stop at Hamra Island in the fjord, with the opportunity to fish, swim and snorkel or even go kayaking. Anchoring for the night is in Shabus Fjord near the village of the same name. Overnight stay on board cabin with private shower room.
Onward journey towards Khor Nadjd at sunrise. End of the cruise at Khor Najd. From there, departure for a half-day mountain safari into the mountains of Musandam in an off-road vehicle. Return to Khasab by land for lunch.
Optional extension: After the mountain safari, return to Khor Nadjd,
lunch on board.
Lunch on board, continue to Lima. Visit to the town of Lima. There is the opportunity to fish, swim and snorkel or go kayaking. Overnight stay on board cabin with private shower room.
Return by sea to Khasab. Arrival in Khasab around noon
