Our partner in Kyrgyzstan is a small, committed family business that attaches particular importance to making it possible to experience the country's unspoilt and impressive nature in a unique way without polluting it and introducing guests to the local population and their everyday life and customs. At the same time, the local population benefits from our activities by supporting them financially through tourism revenue.
In addition, our partner provides targeted information about the negative consequences of plastic waste pollution, which is increasingly becoming an environmental problem in Central Asia - although this problem is still very minor in Kyrgyzstan. This is to be maintained in the future through awareness campaigns. The principles of trade are the conservation of dwindling natural resources and endangered biodiversity.
Mr Nuraly, the founder and managing director of the partner agency, was a professor of the French language at the University of Bishkek for many years. He actively supports projects to preserve Kyrgyz culture and its documentation, such as the recent work of Swiss photographer Laurence Halff, who captured the life of nomads caught between tradition and the demands of the present day;The Swiss photographer Laurence Halff captured the life of the nomads in the tension between tradition and the demands of the present day in the highly recommended photo book "Kirghiztan - au présent des traditions", to which he contributed an essay üabout his life in the transition from the socialist youth to the self-determined life after Kyrgyzstan's independence after 1991.
In March 2022, our partner agency was awarded the Travelife Partner Award for its commitment to social and environmental sustainability and was recognised at the highest level as „Travelife Certified“ at the ITB in Berlin 2024.
