On the corner of Al Nahdah Street and Salaam Street, the relatively new Sultan Qaboos Mosque in Salalah rises up into the sky. Although this mosque is not as magnificent as the Grand Sultan Qaboos Mosque in Muscat, it is well worth a visit.
The brightly lit building forms an island of calm amidst the hustle and bustle of the city and is therefore the ideal place to take a break while sightseeing.
