Unreal glaciers over 7,000 metres high rise above the clouds; the glistening waters of the Issyk-Kül, the second largest mountain lake in the world - the Kyrgyz Sea - stretch out seemingly endlessly; herds of horses and sheep roam freely and indefinitely through vast, untouched landscapes. Kyrgyzstan is endless horizons, majestic mountain scenery, unspoilt nature and, above all, friendly people who are proud of their ancient nomadic culture and are happy to show and explain it to the few visitors from abroad.
Kyrgyzstan lies on the former Silk Road and, in addition to UNESCO World Heritage Sites, offers a unique insight into people's lives today between socialist heritage, nomadic tradition and the demands and needs of modern times.
We are delighted to be able to offer a small, fine, interesting round trip with partners who are on the same wavelength as us. They have a very good network in the country and deliberately promote local structures and small businesses.

Dear Mr Popp,
Our tour of Kyrgyzstan with World Nomad Games, which you planned and organised so carefully, far exceeded our expectations.
Our guide and driver looked after us superbly; they were very warm and incredibly dedicated.
Kyrgyzstan is a breathtakingly beautiful country, particularly for nature lovers. Every single day of the trip impressed us anew.
We were thrilled by the mountains, the gorges, the incredible vastness, the free-roaming herds of horses and cattle, and the diversity of this country. Particular highlights for us were the days we spent at the World Nomad Games (Kok Boru, yurt-building competitions, etc. – an immersion in the ancient traditions of the nomads) and the days we were able to spend with the nomad family (overnight stays in a yurt, horse rides, hiking – an immersion in the everyday life of today’s nomads).
Staying in a hotel – including showers with running water – after our nights in the yurts was certainly another highlight.
Thank you so much for this wonderful trip
Sabine and Dieter
