Trekking in the mountains, camel rides, hikes, off-road vehicle journeys ... Expedition trips are more uncomfortable, as you may not be able to lie in a soft bed for several nights in a row, you may have to help with the kitchen work and there is no bathroom available in the evening.
On the other hand, they offer experiences away from the main routes. These include marvellous open-air nights, swimming in wild gorges, lonely camel treks between the dunes of the desert and hikes through the rugged mountain world.
