Bait Al Zubair Museum - Muscat

Located in the "historic Muscat" district, outside the city wall, from the Bab al-Kabir city gate in a southerly direction. Open Saturday to Thursday 08:30–17:30. Closed on Fri. The ticket office closes at 17:00.

The remarkable private collection of the old Omani trading family Zubair includes historical photographs, documents, jewellery, everyday objects and a valuable collection of old khandjars. Traditional handicrafts and an insight into the early way of life of the people in the country are also on display. The information panels are interestingly designed. With cafeteria and museum shop.
