The Hanging Terraces Guesthouse is situated at an altitude of 2,000 metres on Jebel Akhdar, in beautifully restored old houses in the village of ‘Al Aqr’, one of the three villages on the well-known ‘3-village walk’ trail through the terraced fields of the Saiq Plateau. It offers direct views of the gorges and terraced fields.
Half-board is included in the room rate.
The drive up to Jebel Akhdar follows the well-maintained but steep and winding road from Birkat al Mauz. An off-road vehicle is required.
