The Suwgra Heritage Inn is situated at an altitude of approximately 2,200 metres in a secluded valley of Jebel Akhdar.
This once-abandoned mountain village has been lovingly restored by local residents into a particularly authentic place to stay for tourists.
Ideal for anyone seeking seclusion and tranquillity away from the tourist hustle and bustle. However, you should have no problem with climbing stairs, as the guesthouse can only be reached via a long, steep flight of steps that leads down into the valley and then back up to the buildings. Luggage is transported by a ‘cable car’ from the small car park directly across the valley to the houses.
The compulsory half-board includes a good dinner, cooked by local families.
