The Double Tree by Hilton Al Waha

The Double Tree by Hilton Al Waha Resort is ideal for families thanks to its swimming pools and play areas.

The Al Waha is situated on the same rocky bay as the neighbouring Hilton Muscat Al Bandar Hotel. It has a total of 302 rooms. The beach, gardens and swimming pool facilities can be shared.

In 19 restaurants, guests can sample specialities from South America, Italy, Spain, Morocco and, of course, Oman. Everything is on offer, from casual family restaurants and fast food to elegant dining. A seafood restaurant on the beach rounds off the selection.

Sports and wellness enthusiasts will also find plenty to enjoy: a fitness centre, four tennis courts, beach volleyball, a diving school, aqua aerobics, windsurfing, boat hire, three swimming pools (two of which are connected by a 250-metre-long ‘Lazy River’), and direct access to the beach.

The complex also features an amphitheatre and a souk with numerous shops. Between the three hotels lies the “Piazza”, where you can stroll at your leisure and visit shops and restaurants.

The professionally run Kids Club welcomes younger guests with its own children’s pool and play areas. Family-friendly dining options are also available.

The historic districts of the capital, Muscat, are about a 20-minute drive away. The journey to the Royal Opera House or the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque takes around 50 minutes.
