About 40 km east of Salalah, near Taqah, lies the Rotana Luxury Resort, a large complex reminiscent of a town, built around marina canals.
The vast, town-like five-star Rotana Resort complex, with four restaurants and small shops, stretches across an artificially created area of canals and marina facilities right down to the expansive beach. We recommend booking the Ocean Front rooms so you can enjoy the view and the proximity to the beach. The Arabic-style rooms have large, shaded balconies or terraces.
The small village of Taqah is just a few minutes’ drive from the hotel, whilst the journey to Salalah takes a good half an hour.
